Carbon filters for households
Filters for general water treatment (tap water) that meets the requirements for potable water. We recommend simple pipe filters with a replaceable carbon liner to reduce free chlorine and its chlorine-derived derivatives (so-called chlorination by-products). Under normal circumstances, these filters are installed at the sampling point, most often in the kitchen under the kitchen line - the closest possible place to collect water.
On activated charcoal adsorption, adsorption occurs, i.e., to collect unwanted substances on the surface of the carbon charge. The optimum time for replacing the insert is about half a year, but no more than a year. Later, the penetration of entrapped substances into the treated water is already threatened and thus impaired.
The so-treated general water is optimal for eating and preparing meals and drinks.
